Not that Miss Wade was devoid of physical attraction but because Mr. Bayliss couldn't see her. He is blind. To Mr. Bayliss’s attractive exterior the success of the wooing was no way attributable. Miss Wade could not appreciate it. She is blind too, or nearly blind. These two souls were drawn together by spiritual affinities wholly, and so their matrimonial happiness rests on a sure foundation.

They were married yesterday by Rev. E. P. Crawford at the Orphans' home in this city. The bride has lived there nearly all her life, having been received into the institution when an an infant. She took a course of instruction at the Brantford Institute for the Blind, and while there she met Mr. Bayliss who was also studying at the institution.
