BOYD-MORGAN - Miss
Annie Morgan, of Brantford, was married to Rev. Thomas Boyd of Bartonville,
January 16, at the residence of the bride's mother. The young couple were
supported by Miss Kate Morgan, sister of the bride, and Dr. Winakele. The
respect in which they were held was testified by the array of costly presents.
The young couple took the train for the east and carry with them the best
wishes of a very large number of friends in Brantford.

afternoon, was the sensation of the day. The commander-in-chief, Major Moore,
of Brooklyn, N.Y., was present.

Wednesday last at the residence of Alexander Stewart of Saltfleet, the nuptials
of Miss Sarah J., his only daughter, and Mr. J. C. Ker, a son of Mr. Thomas
Ker, of Caistor, were celebrated at 11 a.m., after which dinner was partaken of
by the contracting parties and the assembled relatives and guests. The
bridesmaids were Miss Gussie Ker, sister of the groom, and Matilda Lottridge,
of Stoney Creek. The groomsmen were Messrs Lyman Lee, B.A., of Hamilton, and
Walter Tallman, of Beamsville. The ladies were tastefully attired. The pastor
of Grimsby circuit, the Rev. Mr. Ferguson, performed the ceremony...

Wednesday afternoon Mr. Alexander Keith of the firm of D. S. Keith & Co,
well known in this city in connection with the management of the steamer
'Southern Belle', was married to Miss Kate Forbes, only daughter of Duncan
Forbes, at St. Andrew's Church, Toronto, the Rev. D. J. Macdonnell officiating.
Miss Emma Latch supported the bride and Mr. George Keith the groom. The happy
couple left in the evening for a tour through the eastern States.

every adult, excepting perhaps a few professed cynics, took place Monday
evening at St. Patrick's Church in the marriage of Mr. Joseph D. Barry,
lithographer, to Miss Harriet Aikens, both of this city. Mr. Barry was
supported by his brother, Mr. Daniel Barry. The bride looked charming and was
tastefully attired. Miss Aikens, her sister, acted as bridesmaid.
The wedding
presents were numerous and costly. The happy pair left for the east on their
bridal tour with the best wishes of their many friends.

(Stony Creek) - On Monday night in Wesley Church, Stony Creek, Stony Creek
circuit, Mr. Henry Thrope and Miss Oliva A. Lambier were joined in holy
matrimony. A large audience witnessed the solemn service which was performed by
Rev. Mr. Mooney, Methodist clergyman, Stony Creek.
