CUDNEY-GOFORTH - The Monck "Reform
Press" reports: On Good Friday, a marriage was solemnized between Mr.
Cudney, of St. Catharines, and Miss Goforth, of Wainfleet. We understand the
bride and bridegroom who are respectively fourteen and eighteen years of age
had made a runaway match of it and experienced some difficulty in getting the
connubial knot tied. They succeeded, however, the Rev. Mr. Williams
officiating, and left town rejoicing. We hope they may never regret it.

marriages of Miss A. H. Coursol,
second daughter of Mr. D. H. Coursol, with Mr.
D. H. Sincennes, second son of Mr. Sincennes, President of the Royal Insurance

same steamer which takes His Excellency.

STORER-YOUNG - This morning, Miss Annie
Young, daughter of the late John Young, Esq., of this city, was united in
marriage to Mr. D. Storer of Glasgow, Scotland. The altar was beautifully
decorated, and the church was crowded to suffocation with the friends of the
happy pair. The ceremony took place at 12 o'clock, Rev. Mr. McColl of the
central Presbyterian church officiating owing to the illness of the Rev. Mr.
Smith, the pastor of St. Paul's. The beautiful bride was elegantly attired as
were the charming bridesmaids, three in number. The Reverend Mr. McColl
delivered a short but impressive address after which the ceremony was proceeded
with. Immediately at the conclusion of the ceremony, the wedding party,
accompanied by the intimate friends of the happy couple, partook of the wedding
breakfast at the residence of the bride's mother after which the bridal pair
started for New York on an extended tour of several weeks.

HINCKS-SULLIVAN - Yesterday afternoon, Sir
Francis Hincks was married to Mrs. Emily Louise Sullivan, widow of the late
Hon. R. B. Sullivan, at All Saints' Church, Toronto. The Rev. J. H. Baldwin was
the officiating minister. The affair was strictly private, and consequently few
people, most of whom were ladies, were present at the church to witness the
interesting ceremony. Mr. Thomas Moss, M.P., gave the bride away. The other
ladies and gentlemen who took part in the proceedings were Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Moss, Mrs. T. Moss, and Mr. W. P. Falconbridge. After the ceremony was
concluded, Sir Francis and Lady Hincks left for the east by the evening train.
